Subject: GRACO Junior Maxi Compliance with the European standard R44-04
Dear valued customer,
We have been made aware of tests performed by ADAC on our Junior Maxi car seat and have been surprised to learn the results of these tests.
As parents ourselves, ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers is GRACO’s first priority.
All our products are manufactured in accordance with all the existing EU legislation and safety requirements.
We also have the products re-tested at regular intervals to ensure ongoing compliance.
We work closely with independent third party laboratories to ensure our products meet and exceed the applicable standards.
We therefore confirm that consumers can safely use our GRACO Junior Maxi car seats as the Junior Maxi car seats fully passed the European standard ECE R44-04 as per the provided certificate.
In addition we have been conducting due diligence in performing the Conformity of Production (COP) required by the European standard ECE R44-04 after every 5000 units are manufactured.
That documentation is available upon request.
We are in a contact with the ADAC to address the matter and understand how the test was conducted.
