Graco has announced a voluntary recall in the United States for older models of Graco Quattro Tour™ and MetroLite™ strollers (these strollers are known as Quattro Tour™, Quattro Tour Deluxe™, Metrosport™, and Aerosport™ outside of the U.S.)

This announcement is related to unfortunate incidents where children became entrapped between the stroller seat and tray in these specific model strollers in North America.

As a result of the activity in America, Graco is issuing a voluntary safety notice for all countries outside of the U.S. to alert parents and caregivers of a potential risk of injury if the stroller harness is not used.

To prevent potential injuries:

  • Always secure a child by using a safety harness whenever they are in a stroller
  • Never leave a child unsupervised in a stroller, especially when sleeping
  • Always follow your manufacturer’s instructions on how and when to use additional safety features provided with your stroller

We want to stress that these products are safe when used according to the manufacturer’s instructions. There have been no reported injuries related to this issue outside of North America.

If parents are still concerned, we encourage them to call Graco to request a modification kit that further eliminates this risk.

It is important to note: In the U.S., a “recall” refers to ANY corrective action or safety notice related to a product. In this case, the announcement does not instruct consumers to return their product in the U.S. or otherwise. Graco will provide free modification kits for consumers with affected strollers worldwide, upon request.

To request the modification kit or for any additional questions, consumers can contact Graco by visiting www.gracobaby.eu or by calling our consumer service line at +44(0)844 412 1212
